Good value buffet in excellent surroundings with friendly staff
Tasty lite bites meal, pleasant surroundings with goid service. Jacket potato with chilli con carne and side salad. Main menu seemed to be fairly typical pub food.
I go to this pub about six times a year. Every time I order a hot drink or hot food they take the order but forget to bring it out. And I mean EVERY time. Terrible service. Never improves.
They do a yummy carvery. Went here for our family pre Christmas dinner 3 course...what a treat! Staff are accomadating, great service. The place is clean, bright and a pleasure to spend time in. I have also stayed the night as they are also a hotel. Very good value for money.
Food is good, staff is friendly and helpful, bathroom could be a bit cleaner around the shower fixtures but ok on the whole. It would have got 4 stars but my room was right over the party venue with music blaring and the floorboards shaking till midnight. Not nice when you need to rest for an early morning. Management should think of better soundproofing. Good value on the whole. Just soundproof your hall.
